New York State and others currently does not require the registration of pesticide products which comply with the Minimum Risk pesticide exemption. Since Naprovit PRO Plus complies with the Minimum Risk pesticide exemption, Naprovit PRO Plus is allowed to be used in mosquito misting systems in New York State.
The recommended misting pattern calls for a minimum 5 times per day in the evening with a minimum 30 second misting period. We suggest 45 minutes between mists with the first cycle 30 minutes before dusk.

Add 1.2 ounces of Naprovit PRO Plus™ for each gallon of the tank to be filled. Fill tank with water first, and then add product to minimize foaming.
Most of the pumps used in the misting industry today are rated up to 500 PSI. To form a good atomized mist we recommend that you turn the pump to 275 PSI with a maximum of 280 PSI. We have found that this increases the atomization of your mist, giving you better coverage / kill zone for you and your clients. Importantly, this PSI will not endanger the pumps from prematurely wearing out. Do not void your warranty!
This is key to having a successful installation. The recommended spacing for an average misting system is approximately 10 feet between nozzles. Nozzles should always be placed around the perimeter of the “misting zone” to allow for the killing of insects before they enter the public areas / people zones. Depending on your problem insect, your placements will vary in the people zones. Do not place nozzles over doorways or windows if possible, as any residue from your misting solution will show up here. Try to create a true “kill zone” with your placement of the nozzles. If you have a problem area, you may need to add additional nozzles. We recommend that all nozzles be a minimum of 24 inches away from any vegetation / plants / landscaping, since most plants just do not like continuous moisture. This will also prevent “burning” of any vegetation. You need to make sure that you allow the atomized mist to be able to spread out and be dispersed into the air so it comes in contact with the insect. When placing a nozzle, make sure that you have enough height so your coverage area overlays the area that you are looking to control and / or eliminate pest insects.
